The strict four-year-old rule for importing remains but ese vehicles, and other makes, are being stretched into tippers to satisfy the burgeoning construction market.But that's about to change: from February, the Cypriot government will ban any chassis alterations. Exporters will have to compete with domestic buyers for purpose built tippers, which are scarce enough as it is. It should drive tipper prices up even further but falling demand for tractors is bound to depress prices.
