• Newbury-based Hi-Met has produced a reflective sideguard for trucks, designed to increase night visibility. It is claimed to be the first production reflective sideguard on the market.
The company has modified a conventional guard by removing the side rib and applying adhesive reflective material which is similar to that used for reflective decals on police cars.
A set of the sideguards will be on display at the IRTE Show at Telford in May.
