Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WAS most interested in your article entitled, '' Tele graph Poles Set by Lorry," published in your issue dated December 12. This concerned an earth-boring equipment made by the Highway Trailer Co As an engineer and a reader of your journal tor many years. I can assure you that your correspondent, Mr. W. Oliver, who wrote in your issue dated January 23, is quite correct in his opinion concerning the Post Office authorities. From my own observations, they are living in a time that has passed in respect of 80 per cent. of the organization and equipment of this public service. Suggestions of improvement are far too ia.ften received with vacant looks. However, would stiggest .to Mr. Oliver that he should not give up hope. Someday they may emerge from them trance and realize. that time and inventions are marching on Crewe_ N. G Hruarriti
