Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The Inchcape Group is buying insurance broker Clarkson Puckle, which operates the FTA's insurance services, in a deal worth 243 million. The purchase is being carried out through Inchcape subsidiary Bain Dawes — the insurance broker which handles the RHA's insurance services.

The final agreement on the sale is expected to be completed at the beginning of next year. As yet no details have been given on bow the two companies will operate, or if there will be any merger between their road haulage activities.

The new company will be called Bain Dawes Clarkson and have 30 offices in the UK.
