Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Following the recent 2500,000 investment in restructuring its van production line at Sheffield trailer manufacturer Craven Tasker is spending a further £2 million on trailers for its leasing and finance division Eurofleet.

The Eurofleet order for 200 trailers will consist of variety of types for short-term lease customers, while long-term lease customers will have trailers built specifically to requirements.

According to Craven Tasker managing director Norman Mellors, The trailer industry now operates at a lower, but relatively stable, level of annual sales as the economies of 38-tonne operation and contract hire become apparent. This has led up to expanding our rental and longlease facilities."

Mellors expects 1987 trailer sales to be the same as this year, but there will be fewer cash customers.
