• Transport managers looking for an analysis of their fleet's maintenance performance can now benefit from a new service being offered by the FTA, which is using a computer system to extract maximum feedback from its Vehicle Inspection Service.
Managers can obtain a report that gives them a wide variety of information including depot-to-depot analysis of maintenance performance trends in mechanical failures, the relative performance of different types of vehicles and exactly which component areas are causing problems.
Reports will usually be supplied on a quarterly basis, but flexibility is a keynote of the new service and FTA will meet companies' individual requirements.
