• Central Trailer Rental, a Tiphook group member, has appointed H A Fane as its new executive chairman. A E Clemson takes over Fane's former position of managing director.
• Bill Morris has taken over as midlands regional manager of TI Bainbridge Silencers. He is responsible for the company's Leicester, Sheffield and Birmingham depots. Allan Hartland now holds Morris's former position as Birmingham depot manager.
• Duncan Crosby is the new sales executive for Scotland and the North of England for jonckheere 151C; the subsidiary of Belgian coach builder, CarrosserieJorickheere.
• John Gerrard has been promoted to chief engineer at Foden Trucks. He is the first British
holder of the position since Foden was acquired by Paccar in 1980.
