bought Collings and Stevenson (Contracts) Ltd., hauliers and contract hirers, of London, W.3. The company operates regular haulage services, principally into East Anglia. With its associated companies, it has a fleet of 75 vehicles.
Included in the take-over are the associated companies, Dacol Motors and N. W. and S. H. Collings. Total payment for the purchase was 190,000 in cash and 122,737 T.D.G. 5s. ordinary shares (worth about £86,000 at current market values).
Mr. D. H. Collings will continue as managing director.
