Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The first phase of Mercedes-Benz's new and used commercial

vehicle dealership Bell Trucks E3m development is under way.

North-East Mercedes dealer Bell Trucks' ambitious development strategy has kicked off with the approval of plans to refurbish the site at Team Valley. This makes way for the redevelopment of its Birtley site to be turned into a dedicated van centre (CM 2 February 2006). Chief executive Gary Graham explains that expansion is necessary because of growth at the Birtley site, which opened in 1978.

"We've also learned that truck and van servicing are two very different disciplines and we want to give our customers a more focused approach by offering dedicated van sales and service at Birtley and round the-clock truck servicing at Team Valley." he adds.

"This year will see our truck side move to the new facility on theTeam Valley Trading Estate and we'll then transform our Birtley site into a dedicated van centre. The space created at Birtley will enable us to incorporate a van showroom with a comfortable visitor seating area as well as an eight-bay workshop for servicing and vehicle preparation."

The key to its success. Graham concludes, will be developing aftersales to local businesses with a package menu pricing system and fast servicing to compete with non-franchised workshops and dealers.. •
