Tecshift. Vauxhall has produced a product that makes sense on paper and on the road. It has been said that the best technology is the stuff you don't notice and that is exactly what you get with this product.
It is smooth in operation, works with your driving style and reduces fuel consumption (though more so in urban driving). At the flick of a switch it can even hold the revs longer when needed.
But all this would be of little consequence if it wasn't housed in a capable product. Fortunately the Vivaro is still up there with the best, five years on. It sets the benchmark in overall driving ability and is as good as any when it comes to load carrying. With the combination of the Tecshift it's a marriage made in technology heaven.
