Producers from home and overseas brought along an abundance of innovative equipment to tempt the industry, from exhaust emission analysers and hand-held tachograph calibrators to portable rolling road brake testing gear and vehicle straightening systems.

TwinPower (Europe) exhibited a Hong Kong-designed Gemini two-in-one battery with an integral microprocessor to control its separate functions, while Exide's Maxxima battery has cylindrical cells giving greater surface area on the wound plates, allowing extra capacity.
