AOVEMENT of goods in Europe LL increased substantially in almost. every country, it is stated in the latest " Annual Bulletin of Transport Statistics," issued by the Economic Commission for Europe. The statistics cover1960. All three forms of transport shared in this increase, the proportions varying slightly from country to country.
A new set of statistics relating to road transport gives estimates of the mileage operated by various types of road vehicle, both passenger and goods.
