Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A British truck driver has been killed in a crash on his way home from Kuwait.

Hal Roscoe, 35, from Bradfield in Essex, collided head on with a Syrian-registered Mercedes artic which was allegedly travelling on the wrong side of the road without lights. The Syrian driver is in hospital.

Roscoe's was the first UK commercial vehicle to deliver a load to Kuwait after the end of the Gulf War. He drove for Braintree-based Middle East specialist Peterlea Trucking, which works for the Orient Freight Group.

This was to have been his last trip to the Middle East before emigrating with his wife and three daughters to Canada.

Friends of the driver have thanked Orient managing director Andy MacLean for his help in bringing the body home.
