Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Over the past three weeks there have been three attacks on operators in Kent alone. The most recent victim was the Danish Bacon Company, which had firebombs planted on three of its trucks at West Mailing.

Agency driver Barry Strong was passing the depot in his truck, just after midnight last Thursday (19 Sept), when he spotted one of the firebombs flickering on a fuel tank.

He kicked it off the fuel tank and threw soil over it and was about to leave a note for the driver when he realised the package was a bomb. He then alerted the police before returning to the forecourt and finding firebombs on two other trucks. He defused them too, saving thousands of pounds worth of damage. The incident follows attacks on Canterbury-based FMS and Thames Valley Eggs.

LI Police investigating arson attacks against 10 lorries at Midlands Meat Packers of Crick, and York House of Potten, Beds have charged four people with conspiracy to cause criminal damage.

The four were bailed at Northampton magistrates court this week, pending trial at crown court.
