Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A PAY DISPUTE at Comers Skelmersdale ROC has been averted at the 11th hour.

The warehouse staff at the Lancashire site, run by DHL Exel, were angered by this year's pay award — the company initially offered the 150 staff affected an increase of £10.20; staff were demanding an extra 2 a week.

However, days before a 24-hour strike was due on 24 October, DHL Exel put an improved, undisclosed offer on the table, which was accepted by the "overwhelming majority", according to United Road Transport Union national officer Roy Abrahams.
