• Esprit of Pullborough, West Sussex. is marketing a new windscreen repair kit for CV operators and repairers. The Compact Pro System covers all types of repair, including cracks.
The kit costs 2430 (ex-VAT), including on-site training.
The damage is repaired by injecting a resin through the surface chip. Air is bled out and the area is cured using the powerful LJV lamp supplied. Once the repaired area has been polished, the vehicle is ready for use.
Depending on the age and severity of the damage, the repair is said to be almost impossible to find.
