and District Tipper Operators' Association held its first annual dinner. The guests were welcomed by the chairman of the Association, Mr. R. Wilson. _ . The Association was formed to help newcomers in this specialized branch of the transport industry and to refresh established operators on the economic and legal aspects Of the industry.. Fortnightly meetings are held, with lectures and film shows from manufacturers, cost accountants, licensing authorities, maintenance experts and fully conversed operators. The membership is at present 50; but it is hoped, after the successful dinner, to double that figure shortly,
