PIA N export record was set up by Leyland Motors, Ltd., in the year ended September 30. Half of the company's production was sent overseas and exports in the year were 10 per cent. more than in the previous 12 months.
A two-thirds increase in the number of passenger chassis exported was largely responsible for this attainment. Latin America has ordered 2,117 Leyland Royal Tiger vehicles.
There was a slight decline in the number of Comets shipped abroad, because of the introduction of a new model during the year.
