Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Police are searching for a lorry which could have caused a massive explosion at a Cambridgeshire petrol station, killing one person.

A green truck, which was travelling on the westbound carriageway of the A14 at Lo[worth near Cambridge, collided with another lorry anddrove on as the other vehicle careered into a Fina station.

Cambridgeshire police are appealing for witnesses. Only the prompt action of two station workers prevented the explosion being even greater but one motorist, who was near the station's kiosk, was killed. The lorry burst into flames as it hit the kiosk, causing an explosion at the site. It is thought the driver of the lorry suffered minor injuries.

Fire fighters had to remove the lorry from under the station's canopy.

The police and Fina have praised the reactions of the station's staff, Audrey Scott and Linda Bonus, who saw the approaching lorry and immediately flicked the switch which isolates the petrol supplies.

"This action averted what could have been potentially a much more serious incident," says Inspector Keith Hood.
