• Winconton Logistics' Transport business has been renamed Industrial and Commercial because "transport sends the wrong message". John Worby, finance director for Unigate (Wincanton Logistics' parent company) says: "We are doing a lot more than just transport as increasingly transport involves the full logis tics package." Meanwhile the company has posted a 17.2% upturn in profits to £15m for the six months ended 30 September. Sales were up 16% to £265m. On the transport side, Worby says it has won business From Carlsberg Tetley and Team Flitwick which distributes for Texaco.
