Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

of the drivers able to claim hgv licences under the Road Traffic (Drivers' Ages and Hours of Work) Act 1976 have yet claimed them. Can you restate the qualifications necessary to claim Class 3 licences under this Act?

AThis concession applies -to drivers who have been in the habit of driving vehicles which did not need hgv licences because they were under 3 tons unladen, but will require them from January 1, 1977, because the vehicles are over 15 tonnes (7.38 tons) gross. Such drivers may claim a Class 3 licence (restricted to vehicles up to 10 tonnes gross) if they can satisfy the LA that they have been driving the vehicles concerned for a period of six months (or periods of six months in total) in the course of any consecutive 12 months between January 1, 1975, and April 15, 1976.
