Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A clutch brake, eliminating the need for double de-clutching when changing up and assisting in the engagement of first and reverse gears, will be fitted to the Fuller Roadranger RT610 transmission from early 1972 and to all Roadranger 900 series twin-countershaft rangechange gearboxes from the inception of production in 1972. It is designed for application to a transmission used in con junction with a drive clutch with a pull-type disengagement mechanism.

Comprising a brake plate and a brake disc mounted on the input shaft, the clutch stop is operated by the withdrawal housing of the drive clutch when it is disengaged. Springs behind the brake plate ensure that the torque produced is positively controlled irrespective of pedal pressure. Roadranger transmissions are produced by Eaton Ltd, Transmission Division, Worsley, Manchester.
