Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A new product called Structure Slab, with many transport applications, has been developed by Structure Slab (Development), 131 Queen Street, Rushden, North an ts, and is expected to be particularly suitable for the construction of insulated/refrigerated road/ rail vehicles and containers.

Structure Slab is basically a hollow plastics slab containing internally a regular system of closed cells, each of which is filled with a close-fitting block of insulating material. The "slab" is designed to perform two separate functions, (a) as a structural component, and (b) to provide thermal insulation.

It is anticipated that Structure Slab will be supplied in multiple bonded panels within the maximum size limits of 40ft x 10ft. Panels for assembly in a 20ft ISO container would weigh approximately 3 1 cwt. Alternative specifications allowing for varying skin thicknesses, internal and external, are available.

Initially, production of Structure Slab is envisaged in the nominal thickness of 4in., but panels will be delivered to a customer filled according to his specification with material to a certified thermal insulation efficiency level, which will apply evenly across the whole area.
