Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AGREASE gun that will dispense a predetermined quantity of lubricant in a minimum of time, and automatically replenish itself from any suitable pressure-fed source. has been designed and built by Mr. F. W. Becker, of Equipment Repairs, Ltd.. 19, Alperton Viaduct, Wembley, for Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., Luton.

The accompanying illustration clearly shows the details of construction. The Vauxhall company specified that the device had to deliver 2 oz. of lubricant at each shot, only 30 secs. being allowed for each delivery. The Beckxuda, as it is called, takes 15 secs. to fill, and can discharge its contents in 2 secs.

Although used in the present instance for dispensing grease, the gun can be employed with equal efficiency with any other form of semi-fluid or paste.
