HAMPSHIRE HAULIER Crossways Transport is being wound up after a meeting of creditors took place to discuss its future.

A spokeswoman for the liquidators at FRP Advisory conirms that nine people have been made re dundant from the Hook-based road haulier.

In a statement of affairs Peter Hollis and Michael Young estimate that company creditors, including other haulage businesses, are owed almost £100,000 by the irm.

VOSA records show that the company, which was involved in textile and agricultural transport, held a licence to operate eight vehicles and 11 trailers.
