Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Kirkstall Forge is marketing a transmission drive line assembly aimed initially at the 'fork-lift truck industry. As the assembly has no conventional prop-shaft, this allows for shorter wheelbase and thus improved manoeuvrability.

The axle is of spiral bevel differential/true epicyclic spur reduction type and overall axle ratios offered are 11.67 and 13.30:1 . The transmission ratios are 1.19:1 (single) and 1.19 and 2.41:1 (two speed). Hub ends can be fitted to accommodate either pneumatic or cushion-type tyres.

The assembly comprises a Kirkstall D21-4-01 drive axle (for trucks with a carrying capacity up to and including 2500kg) or a Kirkstall B21-4-02 (ratio 12.76:1) drive axle (for capacities from 2500kg to 4000kg) flange-mounted to a Warner gear 10-10 (single speed) or Warner gear 10-12 (two speed) transmission unit.

Also supplied in the assembly are Warner gear drive plates and torque convertors.
