Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Midland Red is to slash 40 minutes off the journey time of its Birmingham to London motorway express coach service from tomorrow (Saturday) to cut the travelling time between the two cities to 21 hours. This will be achieved by routeing the service via the Aston Expressway and the Gravelly Hill interchange on to M6-M1 Midlands link motorway officially opened on Wednesday.

Four coaches a day will operate the new "Superfast Service" seven days a week. One journey each day will start from Dudley in the morning, running to Digbeth bus station and then following the Superfast route, with an evening journey from London similarly extended to Dudley.

It is interesting to note. writes Derek Moses, that the journey time of 2+ hours between the two cities is only three quarters of an hour slower than the fastest trains between New Street and Euston, and the day return fare is £1.15 cheaper than the British Railways day return.
