Vacuum Cleaning from Pressure Line.

EQUALLY good results, are claimed from the Air-power vacuum cleaner just placed on the market by Brown Brothers, Ltd., Great Eastern Street, London, E.C.2, as from the well-known

fan-operated type. Cigarette ends, matches, tickets and such-like litter that require to be removed from buses, coaches and taxis are well within the capabilities of the device.

Measuring overall about 2 ft. 8 ins. long, incorporating a large dust bag, and having a 44-in. wide detachable nozzle, the Air-power vacuum cleaner depends for its.operation upon a sensitive valve, midway along the barrel. Air is supplied by a flexible tube from a convenient source, and the discharge through the valve creates a depression in the nozzle, resulting in a powerful suction.
