• Fruehauf has built a new type of curtainsider with a roller shutter rear door and a tail-lift for Superdrug's high-street deliveries of roll cages. Conventional curtainsiders rely on the rear doors for their rigidity and strength, so Fruehauf's designers re-engineered the rear frame to accommodate the shutter while maintaining structural rigidity. The eight new trailers are also used to collect pallets from drinks and paper suppliers—a 3m side clearance permits double stacking of pallets. The trailers have triaxle running gear on Fruehauf air suspension.
