• If you run trucks in Eire, keep an eye out for Commercial Motor Ireland's smart new Dennison curtainsider test trailer which we will be using whenever we test an artic in the Republic. The I 3.7m trioxle semi is fitted with Kelly bodywork and runs on air-sprung Mentor axles with the latest Disc-Plus airoperated discs. like CM's UK-based Fruehauf test trailers, the 4.0m-high Dennison has concrete test weights and water tanks fore and aft to ensure safe, easy loading to either 38 or 40 tonnes gross weight. Commercial Motor Ireland is a monthly supplement produced for Irish operators; it appears free in the Republic with the last issue of Commercial Motor each month.

Since launching CMI a year ago we have set up our own Irish heavy truck test route and now, thanks to Dennison, we can test tractive units to the same exacting standards as we do in the UK. Our 200km, day-long route starts and finishes in Naas and takes in the very best, and worst, of Irish road conditions!

IF you ore an Irish operator and want to see Commercial Motor Ireland make sure your newsagent orders CM for you every week—if you have a problem with availability call 0171-261 6963.
