• The 1992 Glass's Commercial Vehicle Checkbook will be available at the beginning of April; it covers all standard trucks built over the past 10 years with details on body/chassis type and driveline and costs £18.
The Checkbook includes model numbers, visual dating features, dimensions, chassis numbers and the dates and descriptions of any changes with a directory of vehicle manufacturers.

Fuel for thought
• The Fuel Management Guide is available free from the FTA. The 30-page guide, which was produced by the FTA and the Department of Energy, gives advice on fuel-efficient driving techniques; making trucks more energy efficient, and selecting the optimum vehicle for a job.
