▪ Supertruck Ireland '92 will be held on 31 July-1 August at the Ballymena Showground.
Attractions will include the first Irish appearance of a jet truck; stunt driving displays, kart racing and truck competitions including best cab interior and best visiting truck.

Revving up
• This year's Mobil Truck Superprix is being held on 10-12 April at Brands Hatch near Dartford, Kent. The line-up at the opening round of the 1992 FIA European Truck Racing Cup will include current lap record holder Slim Borgudd from Sweden in his Volvo White. Practice runs will be held on 10 April, when entry will cost £4. Tickets for the qualifying heats on Saturday will cost £6 and Sunday Superprix tickets will be £10. Under-16s get in free on Friday and Saturday; on Sunday children's tickets will cost El.
