CARRYCARE, a distribution division of the SPD Group, has promoted John Davies to managing director.
He was previously sales and marketing director of SPD Distribution and before that commercial director of Unicold Wales.
A second appointment of deputy general operations manager has been filled by Frank Hawes who was previously manager of Cory Distribution's depot at Golborne.
Carrycare was established in 1976 to provide a tailored service to the china and glass manufacturing industry.
