BHLR container service has chosen Containerbase Scotland as its new Scottish depot.
Operating out of Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, BHLR runs a service between the UK and Brazil and Uruguay. The company is made up of Blue Star Line, Houlder Line, Lamport and Hoult Line and Royal Mail Lines. The agents for the service in Scotland are Liner Shipping and Furness Withy (Shipping).
Containerbase Scotland has a depot of 48,000sqft of transit shed space, a yard for trailer and container storage and can handle 2,000 tons of LCL (Less Than Container Load) a week.
BHLR decided to use Containerbase Scotland after a trial period last December.
