Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Plans for 6 /10-seat "buses" running on trackways at first-floor level in redeveloped areas of the West End and central London came under fire this week by the Royal Institute of British Architects.

The bus plans were put forward on Monday by a working party involving the DoE, GLC and Westminster City Council. They envisaged a series of trackways, with small electrically powered driverless vehicles running at perhaps I5sec intervals in peak hours. The tracks would be made integral with buildings in the redevelopment of large areas of Covent Garden, Strand and Piccadilly areas.

The RIBA suggest that such schemes might ruin the character of central London.
