• From April 3 the new Anglo-Belgian haulage agreement will take effect, enabling UK operators to carry for hire to Belgium without a separate licence. Cabotage and third-country carriage will be prohibited. Details are given in leaflet RTG /OUT /03 obtainable from the DoE's Road Goods Division, St Christopher House, Southwark St., London SEI.
