IN our issue for last week we published a brief paragraph giving certain aggregate traffic statistics for 1942 in respect of the 18 passenger;transport companies comprising the Tilling group, the ramifications of which are so extensive that we feel sure certain sections of our readecs • will find much interest in the independent figures for the
18 separate compenies, and, accordingly, the details are 'given below. Let it be recalled that in the year the fleet of 8,658 buses and coaches covered a total distance of 210,586,763 miles, in the course of which the huge total of 1,085,579,663 passengers was carried by the various vehicles in the organization.
