Eyes gown for a full house

arcelforce picked up a bit of posh recently when it was chosen by Princess Di to distribute a catalogue for her collection of secondhand dresses which she had decided to auction for charity. Whereas you or I might take our old gardening jackets down the Oxfam shop, Diana, Princess of Wales (as she is officially known) chose a Christie's auction in New York on Wednesday this week. Parcelforce has sent 19,000 copies to prospective buyers throughout the world and a further 3,000 have been distributed within the UK. The catalogues themselves are collectors' items: if you can't afford one of Di's slinky gowns you might be willing to part with £35 to find out what you missed. Proceeds go to the Royal Marsden Hospital Cancer Fund, the Aids Crisis Trust and various American charities.
