SOME TIME ago a friend of mine spent three months in Kathmandu, Nepal. To cut a long story short, he is now looking to build a school for orphaned children in the city and is raising funds to do so.
I am doing a sponsored event to raise money. I will cycle 450 miles from Rochdale to Liverpool, crossing by ferry to Douglas on the Isle of Man and do 10 laps of the famous TT course (37.3 miles) before retracing my steps to Rochdale.
As a small haulier I am aware how tough times are in our industry, but any help that we could get would be very much appreciated.
