PTE have both announced new names for their new bus operating companies.
In the North East, Tyne and Wear has opted for Busways Travel Services which has already begun to adopt a series of new liveries and local identities for its various operating areas.
GMT has opted for a similar approach. It has retained the existing orange, white and brown livery, but is adding coloured stripes and logos for each of its four operating areas.
Each area will be subdivided into four or five districts. The company is named Greater Manchester Buses and will trade as GM Buses.
