The Handyman units will be operated with existing maximum capacity senti-trailers and the new Scammell semi-trailers will be filled with M.H. automatic couplings and three-piecesided bodies for operation with Leyland Inactive units.

AIR SUSPENSION IN DEMAND: The popularity of air suspension for tanker semitrailers is shown by two orders recently placed with R. A. Dyson and Co. Ltd. Petrofina Ltd. has ordered 25 sets of air suspension running gear and Esso Petroleum has ordered 31 sets. The Latter order will bring Esso's fleet of Dyson air suspension semitrailers to more than 100.

FORTY FOR B.R.S.:Taskers of Andover (1932) Ltd. has received orders for 40 semitrailers from British Road Services. Models ordered include 38 10-ton platform semitrailers and two maximum-capacity units with air suspension. The orders, which are worth more than 125,000, will bring the total of Taskers trailers supplied to D.R.S. to more than 1,580.

MORE ATLANTEANS FOR BOLTON: Bolton Corporation Transpoft Committee has recommended the purchase of another 27 Leyland Atlantean double-deck buses, for delivery in 1963/64 and 1964/65. The committee also recommends the purchase of 19 East Lancashire double-deck bodies, 12 for delivery in 1963, and the remainder, together with eight M.C.W. bodies, for delivery in 1964.
