MR. J. C. GARDINER and MR. L. SANER have been appointed additional directors of Shaw and Kilburn, Ltd.

AMBLER, formerly head of the metallurgical section of the sales development division, takes charge of the newly formed market research section of the sales department in Banbury.

MR. N. W. ROLFE, secretary and accountant of the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Co.. Ltd., will go to the U.S.A. and Canada in September to study the organization of road passenger transport. The trip is being financed by the c.M.U.A_ Road Transport Research Fellowship of £600 awarded to him in 1954 by the Institute of Transport. The.-Rees Jeffreys Road Fund will provide a further £200.
