n appeal to hauliers involved in the agricultural industry comes from Tyne & Wear reader Bill Troup, who is involved in a project to send farm implements and other tools to Romania. The project hopes to set up a local operation as an agricultural contractor. At present, many small Romanian farmers with plots as big as football pitches have to dig over their soil with a spade.
