• Mercedes-Benz' new panel van, the Sprinter, was unveiled at the Brussels Truck Show last week. The Sprinter will be available with three wheelbases and two roof heights; power will come from one petrol and Iwo diesel engines.
Series production begins this month with a gross vehicle weight of 2.6 tonnes: 2.8, 3.5 and 46tonne models will follow later. The first Sprinters will reach the UK in May. A full technical report will appear in CM next week.
