Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE AIRVAC type GA vehicle ventilator is now available from Greenwood Airvac Ventilation. It offers an impressive rate of air extraction in relation to its size and vehicle or wind speed.

It is the smallest ventilator in the Airvac range and is suitable for installation in ambulances, caravans and small delivery vans. The low overall height of the unit — 41mm (1.6in) — allows central positioning of the extractors in most applications, especially where the loading height is limited.

The unit is designed to harness airflow across it and, regardless of airflow direction it provides positive extraction of stale air.

Although the Airvac GA is capable of extracting approximately 0.4cm (15cuft) air/minute at 50mph, the operation of the unit does not depend on forward motion of the vehicle. A further advantage of the design is that the prevention of excessive extraction is achieved when the vehicle travels at high speeds or against winds of high velocity.

Constructed from rustproof, primed steel the ventilator measures 235mm (9.25in) x 157mm (6.18in). Maintenance and upkeep costs are low as the ventilator gives multidirectional positive extraction without moving parts.

The type GAO interior grille provides a balanced and adequate free area with the ventilator and ensures minimal resistance to air extraction. Where controllable extraction is desired, the type GAV interior grille can be used with only a small reduction in capacity of the ventilator.

Price for the Airvac GA ventilator is £3.69 with the GAO interior grille priced at £1.69. (Both figures exclude VAT).
