Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ONE MIGHT reasonably assume that the first ERF built 51 years ago was No 1. It wasn't. It was No 63, which happened to be the age of E. R. Foden, the founder of the business.

This explains why the 50,000th — a two-axle tractor — to roll off the production line was numbered 50,063. It completed an order for Mobil for 14 and was destined for the Leeds terminal.

"Almost half our current 170strong fuel and lube fleets are ERFs, which I think speaks for itself," said Sam Hinks, Mobil's vehicle engineer. A 50,000th vehicle numbered 50,063, on the other hand, requires somebody to speak for it.
