FOLLOWING the formal acquisition from Unilever of the SPD Group by the National Freight Consortium on January 2, Paul Daffern has been appointed as the group's finance director.
Mr Daffern joined NFC in 1980 as management accountant for Cartransport. He subsequently became head of finance and latterly finance director of the car transporting subsidiary.
