EX-TNT general manager Geoff Coleman has joined the board of BRS Southern as commercial director, replacing Wally Farrell, who has retired.
At TNT Mr Coleman was responsible for the company's south-western operation. He entered commercial transport from the armed services in 1980. Before joining TNT in 1982 he was a branch manager for Roadline.
In his new job he will be planning and implementing a new sales and marketing programme for 1985 and beyond. He also takes charge of product development and the service standards of BRS Southern's 27 operating branches.
