B6 FOR FIRES IN HONG KONG: Two fire engines, to be built by Merry weather and Sons. Ltd., on A.E.C. Mercury chassis, have been ordered by the Hong Kong Government. They will be similar in size to the appliances at present used by the Fire Services Department, but will be able to deliver 2,000 gallons of water a minute— twice the capacity of the existing machines.

DAM BUILDERS: The Nagar junassagar Dam authorities, have ordered 70 Leyland Comet chassis from Ashok Leyland, Ltd.. Madras. They will have platform bodies, JET INCREASES FLEET: Jet Petroleum, Ltd., ordered 24 Mammoth Major eightwheelers, through Oswald Tillotson, Ltd.

MARSTON VALLEY ORDER MORE A.E.C.s.: Thirty A.E.C. Mercury chassis have been ordered by the Marston Valley Brick Co., of Marston, Beds. They will have Duramin cabs and flat-platform bodies.

TWO FOR JOHANNESBURG: Roodepoor! Morals burg Municipality has ordered two Leyland Worldmaster buses from Leyland-Albion (Africa), Ltd., Johannesburg. They will have semiautomatic gearboxes and locally built bodies.
