MORE BR1DGEMASTER TANKERS FOR LEICESTER: Leicester City Transport have ordered three more A.E.C. Bridgemaster lowheight double-deckers. Bodies will be built by Park Royal Vehicles, Ltd.
FIRST DOUBLE DECKER FOR DELHI: The first double-decker bus has been put into service in New Delhi. It is a Leyland Titan 27-ft. long OPD2.9 with a 72-seat, light-alloy body built by Hyderabad Allwyn Metal Works, Ltd.
LOWLANDERS FOR WALSALL: Walsall Corporation has ordered 14 more Leyland Lowlander double-decker buses. They will have bodies built by Metropolitan-Cammell Weymann, Ltd.
MR. M. A. PIZZURNO, an independent bus operator from Caxias do Sul. Uruguay, recently took delivery of the .first A.E.C. Regal Mark VI to be sold in his country. He has now placed an order for four more,
BEER IN BULK: Two tanker semi-trailers which will have stainless steel tanks for the transport of beer have been ordered by Bulwark Transport from Andrews Bros. (Bristol), Ltd.. of Liverpool. The tanks will be mounted on Dyson running gear.
B6 FOR FIRES IN HONG KONG: Two fire engines, to be built by Merry weather and Sons. Ltd., on A.E.C. Mercury chassis, have been ordered by the Hong Kong Government. They will be similar in size to the appliances at present used by the Fire Services Department, but will be able to deliver 2,000 gallons of water a minute— twice the capacity of the existing machines.
DAM BUILDERS: The Nagar junassagar Dam authorities, have ordered 70 Leyland Comet chassis from Ashok Leyland, Ltd.. Madras. They will have platform bodies, JET INCREASES FLEET: Jet Petroleum, Ltd., ordered 24 Mammoth Major eightwheelers, through Oswald Tillotson, Ltd.
MARSTON VALLEY ORDER MORE A.E.C.s.: Thirty A.E.C. Mercury chassis have been ordered by the Marston Valley Brick Co., of Marston, Beds. They will have Duramin cabs and flat-platform bodies.
TWO FOR JOHANNESBURG: Roodepoor! Morals burg Municipality has ordered two Leyland Worldmaster buses from Leyland-Albion (Africa), Ltd., Johannesburg. They will have semiautomatic gearboxes and locally built bodies.
