Tom Hamilton
Educated at Glasgow University Toni Hamilton has worked for a number of blue-chip businesses, including Stakis Hotels (as MD) and nursing homes firm Sun Healthcare (as European President).
Since leaving Sun in September 2000 Hamilton has formed a number of companies. Principal among these is Hamilton Private Equity Partners, essentially an investment firm which also has a controlling interest in Grampian plc (described on his CV as a "transport company") and Ramshackle plc, a property company which, as noted above, loaned almost £20,000 to Quartermans Transport.
